This symbol appearing on the label of a Heartland Labs product or used in connection with a product description guarantees the product contains no known carcinogens, reproductive toxins, mutagens, heavy metals, APEs or NPEs, 2-butoxyethanol, phthalates, chlorine or chlorinated solvents, ozone depleting substances, or optical brighteners. In addition, the product is not corrosive to skin or eyes, sensitizing to skin, flammable, or tested on animals. The product ingredients are either biodegradable in accordance with OECD definitions or degradable into environmentally assimilable substances that do not accumulate or negatively impact the environment. Finally, this symbol guarantees the product container and the shipping container are recyclable and made with the highest available recycled content for the specific substrate.
